Our Methodology

Conflai's methodology is built around the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act) and its supporting standards. Our approach combines automated analysis with structured human review to produce reliable, audit-ready compliance documentation.

We classify AI systems according to the risk tiers defined in the AI Act — from minimal risk through to high risk and prohibited — and generate the corresponding technical documentation, conformity self-assessments, and monitoring baselines.

Every classification output is stored with full provenance: the prompt version, model version, and input hash that produced it. This ensures reproducibility and traceability for any future audit or supervisory inquiry.
